Laura Lindberg

Executive Director, LPN – Laura a Licensed Practical Nurse joined our Parkland Village Team in July of 2016 as the Assistant Wellness Director. In January 2017, Laura decided to let her passion for senior living shine by accepting the Role as Parkland Villages New Executive Director. Laura comes to our community with years of experience. Laura has lived in McMinnville Oregon for 30 years working as a CNA, Medication Technician and ran a Foster Care Home for 10 years. Laura is married, has 3 children and 7 Grandchildren. Laura is a seamstress and enjoys making theatrical costumes.

Life Enrichment Director – Cindy was born and raised in Alaska where she volunteered at the local hospital and owned her own craft shop, but has made Oregon her home for the last ten years. Cindy has spent twelve years working with children in the school system. Eight of those years were spent with special needs children. She enjoys doing all forms of art and has taught classes to young and elderly through the Parks & Rec department and with retirement communities for many years. She loves to share the gift of art with others and watch how it energizes and inspires them.
Cindy also loves hosting parties, playing games, and has a passion for clogging.

Business Office Manager – Oksana’s career has focused on helping people. Her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Nutrition provided opportunities to work in a variety of health care settings. Oksana has worked as an Assistant Food Service Manager in retirement facilities and in various hospitals as a Clinical Nutrition Services Assistant. Before coming to Parkland Oksana had the privilege of working as a weight-loss counselor helping many people reach personal goals and develop life-changing habits. Oksana enjoys encouraging and motivating others. One of the ways Oksana has helped people is volunteering at a local food bank in her spare time. During Oksana’s off time she enjoys the outdoors and to taking long walks on the beach.

Marie Jennings

Community Relations Director – Marie began her career with Parkland Village just before Thanksgiving 2017. She joined the team with over two decades of executive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. Marie has a passion for working with families to ensure that every older person experiences the strength, purpose, and belonging that are due to them. Bringing that passion to her work at Parkland has been a very joyful and rewarding experience. Marie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Oregon State University. She and her husband met at OSU in persuasive speech class. After more than twenty years together they are still discussing who is more persuasive! Currently they are empty nesters with their only child off to college.

Ilse Guerrero

Dining Services Director – Ilse’s passion for cooking started with her Easy Bake Oven when she made her first batch of cookies with pink and white frosting. She grew up in a home where the family gathered in the kitchen as her mother and grandmother lovingly prepared meals. She believes that food is a way that we can care for people and show them how important they are in our lives. Ilse goes out of her way to offer menu items that are requested by our residents. She also is mom to three vivacious children.
