Amanda Duckworth

LPN – Amanda Duckworth joined the Parkland Village Team in January of 2017

My name is Amanda Duckworth. I was born in Houston, Texas in 1989. I graduated high school in a small town call Buda, Texas. This is where my love for the small town life comes from. I am 27 years old, with no kids of my own yet. I am the oldest of 4, so not much can surprise me anymore! Ever since I was little I have enjoyed helping people, and that is why I became a nurse. I moved to Newberg Oregon in 2010 from the Bay Area in California, and went to school to become an LPN because I knew that is what I wanted to do. Once I graduated and got my nursing license in 2012, I have been working in the McMinnville area ever since. McMinnville is a small community, and one that I fell in love with when I moved to Oregon. Building several great relationships with wonderful people is how I came to be the Wellness Director here at Parkland. Just like McMinnville, Parkland Village is a small community, and as I am getting to know everyone I love it that much more! I look forward to my future here, and I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcomes I have received.
